Friday, 17th of April 2009
6:45am - Alarm rang. Screamed in my head “can’t I sleep a little while more”. Dragged myself to the washroom. Dragged myself back to change. Stepped onto the weighing machine and decided to eat half of lunch. Grabbed school bag and a piece of bread.
7:15am – Stepped out of house, eyes half opened. Headed down to basement for the car. Smiled at the smooth traffic at KJE, frowned at the almost standstill traffic at AYE.
7:50am – Parked neatly beside a sport car. Ran for bus C. Climbed the steep hill and long stairs up to LT 32.
8:10am – Settled down on a squeaky chair. “Haiz” at the sight of quantum lecture notes. Beated the Zzz monster.
10:00am – Had early lunch. Shaked leg, did nothing, looked for friend during 2 hour break.
12:00pm – Climbed the same old steep hill and long stairs up to LT 32 for transition metal lesson. Gossiped with the gals while taking down notes.
2:00pm – Camera flashes every corner. Took photos and video. Realized for the last time that I could no longer criticize the lecturer or the lesson or gossip about other lecture-mates. Say “good-bye” and “good luck”. Off for bus C and the car.
That was it – The last day of school… without any fanfare, like any other day. No doubt, I can’t wait for school to end but I still feel a little emo about it. Haa! Afterall it’s really the last day… I will definitely miss schooling and the freedom that doesn’t come with the next chapter of life. (=

How time flies
Weeks of secret preparation and anticipation ended in merely 5 minutes with a simple kneel down ‘will you marry me’ question. I guess it’s worth the effort after seeing her reaction. I thought it's really sweet of yuling's bf to come out with the proposal thingy. In this century, how many guys actually do such things? Hehe! Sometimes I envy their stage of life although I can’t quite settle down with the thought that we are already entering this phase. Didn’t I just celebrate my 21st birthday at the function room? Hahaha! Goosh! It seems like yesterday... Really… How time flies…

April Fools' Day
The first of April is marked by the commission of jokes. It is not a holiday but it is celebrated worldwide. In the past, April 1st was the first day of the year in France. King Charles IX changed that to Jan 1st, however, some people stayed with April 1st. Hence, those who did are called April Fools.
One of the famous pranks: 1998: Burger King ran an ad in USA Today saying that people could get a Whooper for left-handed people whose condiments were designed to drip out of the right side. People ordered the new burger and some even requested for the old, 'right-handed' burger.
Anyway, 11 years later, I recieved the first prank by Timo... Thanks buddy! How is it possible that you will change your 'one-way road' mindset? LoL! I guess this day is just another day... that is 25 days nearer to the final exams. hahaha! Chill~
